Mangano Calcite (Manganoan Calcite) is a variety of calcite that is saturated in manganese. This is the reason for its pink color. It was first discovered in the Banska Stiavnica Mining District of Slovakia Republic, but it can be found all over the world. One interesting feature of this mineral is its ability to fluoresce such a vibrant pink/orange under ultraviolet light.
Mangano Calcite assists with love, both accepting love, and self-love. It is great for soothing anxiety and tension.
