These cute little ones is a great example of the fossils found in the Monterey Formation. Because they lived in a coastal environment, they are often found alongside other fossil fish, pine cones, and palm fronds. The natural orange coloring is due to iron oxide sound in the rock. These make a unique addition to any collection, large or small.
