White sage, Salvia apiana, is considered the gold standard when using sage. Primarily used in dispelling negative energies and cleansing, white sage is ignited and allowed to smolder. The scent of sage has also been shown to help reduce stress and repel insects. These bundles are paired with chakra-oriented rose petals. This is said to help when trying to specifically target and cleanse the seven chakras.
How To Use: Ignite your bundle, allowing it to burn for a few seconds before extinguishing the flame. The bundle should begin to smolder. Walk clockwise around your chosen area, focusing on the corners. For self-cleansing, carefully wave the bundle around yourself, allowing the smoke to flow around you. When completed, gently smother the bundle of a fire-safe container and store it for another use.
