Amazonite is a variety of potassium feldspar which often forms in tabular crystals. It is named after green stones that were first found in the Amazon. Amazonite also contains an extremely small amount of lead, leading to its green/blue color.
Amazonite is used to dispel negative energy and filter out stress. It creates a calming environment in the home and workplace. Amazonite is great for soothing emotional trauma and alleviating fear.
